“Stories from the Hall” is a tribute to Georgia Music Hall of Fame, its talented men and women and to the spirit of creativity, inspiration, innovation that has led to the countless musical hits that became the soundtrack for so much of our lives.
Hosted by Jeff Foxworthy – “Stories from the Hall” profiles some of the men and women who would shape the musical landscape around the world.
It was in Georgia that Southern Rock , Southern Hip Hop and Alternative Rock were born. In recording studios across the state, some in small towns, other in converted warehouses and even the basement of a house in East Point music was made and recorded that would define more than five generations of Americans.
“Stories from the Hall” tells you the stories behind the songs and the groups as the artists tell you what really happened and how they got their start.
Featuring Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special, Greg Allman, Chuck Leavell, The B52’s, Widespread Panic, Outkast, Goodie Mob, Cee Lo Green, Collective Soul, Drivin N Cryin, Sugarland, Usher, Third Day and many more.
These are their stories, told by the artists, record producers and recording engineers; of how the music was made and how they created so many of the songs that have stood the test of time.
